Heath Slater was, in fact, injured at the IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 2020 pay-per-view on Saturday night.
It was noted during the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match coverage in our live IMPACT Bound For Glory 2020 results last night that Heath appeared to suffer an injury of some sort during the bout.
Unfortunately, this was confirmed to be the case by Heath himself via social media after the show.
Heath, who finally earned a full-time IMPACT Wrestling contract due to Rhino winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match, took to Twitter late Saturday night to update fans on his condition.
“This sucks…. I’m sorry to everyone,” wrote Heath via his Twitter page as a caption that accompanied a photo of him that appears to be taken from a bed at a local hospital, presumably in the Nashville, Tennessee area. “But big thanks to Rhino and IMPACT Wrestling.”
While the initial belief was that Heath suffered a knee or leg injury of some kind, PWInsider.com is reporting that Heath suffered a groin or abdomen tear.
As of this writing, the pro wrestling veteran is still awaiting the official diagnosis regarding the severity of his injuries.
We will keep you posted here at eWrestling.com as updates continue to surface regarding the injury status of IMPACT Wrestling star Heath.
