And here is our first update following Saturday night’s big news that Jeff Hardy was once again arrested for public intoxication.

PWInsider.com reports that the fine that Jeff Hardy paid for “public intoxication and impairment” was $153 and that unless he wants to contest the charges, Jeff would not be required to appear in court for this issue.

The report adds that by paying the fine – which was likened to that of a parking ticket – the situation is pretty much closed and would not affect Hardy’s ability to wrestle in the city or the state.

WWE released their typical statement on the matter. It reads as follows:

“Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions.”
