Kyle O’Reilly could be wrapping up business with NXT 2.0 this week.
As noted, the contract of the longtime veteran of WWE’s secondary brand is set to expire in the very near future.
In an update, PWInsider Elite is reporting that this will be his final week with the brand if he does sign a new deal with the company.
It was previously reported that O’Reilly’s contract with WWE is set to expire this month, and because of that, WWE expressed interest in keeping him on board despite the recent massive talent cuts the company has made.
The company immediately began the process of negotiating with him in an attempt to get him to put pen-to-paper to remain with the promotion going forward. Kyle O’Reilly is scheduled to team with Von Wagner in a match at the NXT WarGames 2021 special event on WWE Network on Peacock this evening. The duo will square off against Imperium with the NXT World Tag-Team Championships on-the-line.
