Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Mustafa Ali’s status for Elimination Chamber will be determined today. Because of the nature of his injury (concussion), if he’s not cleared today WWE will likely not take the chance that he will be ready by Sunday and so they will move to replace him tonight on Smackdown.
The guesses on who could be in the Elimination Chamber match appear to be Andrade, Rey Mysterio or possibly even Shinsuke Nakamura, who would need to be taken out of his existing program with Rusev.
