Update On New Number One Contenders For WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW saw Lana and Naomi become the new #1 Contender’s to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles by defeating Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke as well as RAW Women’s Champion Asuka and “The Queen” Charlotte Flair, who were the former WWE Women’s Tag Champions, in a Triple Threat #1 Contender’s Match.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler became the two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the Royal Rumble PPV by defeating the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Asuka due to some interference from Lacey Evans and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

Lacey Evans and Ric Flair also made an appearance on RAW during the Triple Threat Match, which caused Charlotte Flair to walk out of the match and pursue them into the backstage area. Jax and Baszler did not appear in the ring on RAW, but they were shown backstage watching the Triple Threat. Baszler took to Twitter and took a shot at all three teams.

Baszler wrote, “Lol, any of these “teams” could use a #Reality check, tbh.”

There is no word yet on when Lana and Naomi will face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
