Update On The Viewership Numbers Of Last Friday’s Episode Of WWE SmackDown

According to Wrestlenomics, this past Friday night’s Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk Tribute episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX was able to draw 2.647 million viewers, with a rating of 0.78 in the key 18-49 demo. This total is up 26.41% from the previous week’s final viewership of 2.094 million viewers for Edge’s 25th Anniversary Celebration episode.

Last Friday night’s 0.78 rating is up 41.81% from last week’s 0.55 rating. Last Friday night’s rating of 0.78 represents 1.022 million viewers in the key 18-49 demo, which is up 41.36% from the previous week’s 723,000 viewers, with a rating of 0.55, according to Wrestlenomics. This past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX was preempted in several markets due to the NFL’s pre-season games. This past Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX drew the highest total audience as well as the highest key demo rating since December 25, 2020, which was the Christmas episode that benefited from a strong NFL lead-in. Not including the December 25, 2022 episode, this past Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew the highest total audience and key demo rating since the post-Super ShowDown episode on February 28, 2020, which drew 2.687 million viewers and a rating of 0.78 in the 18-49 key demo.
