Update On WWE’s Potential Plans To Build Brand New Performance Center

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE plans to maintain its base in Orlando. However, the company is also working on constructing a larger and improved facility, which will include a television studio located near the new site.

Meltzer noted that it will take a few more years before WWE transitions to the new Performance Center. The original Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, opened in July 2013, replacing the company’s previous developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling. WWE expanded by opening its second branch in the United Kingdom in January 2019.

Earlier this year, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared during an appearance on Nightcap with Unc & Ocho that the company intends to keep its original Performance Center in Orlando while also building an alternative facility.
