As noted, WWE ran a “Best Of 2019” special episode of 205 Live on the WWE Network after SmackDown on Friday night and will be doing so once again for next week’s show airing on Friday, December 27th.
The reason for the special “Best Of” episodes of 205 Live is because WWE normally tapes the Cruiserweight-themed show after the live WWE SmackDown On FOX broadcasts on Friday nights.
Instead, this week and next week, WWE will be taping matches for episodes of NXT On USA after the live WWE SmackDown On FOX shows go off the air, and thus, they have “in-the-can” highlight shows lined up for this and next week’s 205 Live episodes on the WWE Network.
