Ric Flair was in hospital on Thursday, preparing for a planned procedure according to Conrad Thompson, his friend and son-in-law, who released a statement after TMZ initially reported that Flair was “rushed” to hospital in serious condition.
Flair’s wife, Wendy, also provided more clarity on the situation with the following:
“Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover.”
The ongoing health complications as I have learned is that Flair needs to have the pacemaker in his chest replaced. While this has yet to be confirmed, it appears to be the case based on Wendy’s statement that this is scheduled to happen tomorrow.
