Despite rumors to the contrary, there is still no definitive date for the WWE television return of Sasha Banks.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez spoke about the subject on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio at F4WOnline.com.
According to the two veteran pro wrestling journalists, Sasha Banks’ status with WWE was discussed and the rumor of her appearing at Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules 2019 pay-per-view was addressed.
The latest on Banks is that there is still no definitive decision on her status and her return is “still be determined” by both WWE and Banks. It was suggested that the expectation was that Banks was going to be returning this summer and ultimately, the decision does come down to her.
“The Boss” has not appeared on WWE television since her match with Bayley at WrestleMania 35 back in April, where “The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection” lost the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships to The Ilconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay).
