Could Vince Russo be secretly working behind-the-scenes for Impact Wrestling? The latest rumors making the rounds would lead one to believe so.
Several years ago, former WWE/WCW writer Vince Russo was “secretly” hired by Impact but blew his cover when an accidentally sent an email to a reporter, who then reported on it.
Recently, there have been more rumors that Russo is once again involved with Impact in some capacity but he has publicly denied this and the promotion has privately also said so.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that Impact at one time did have discussions of using Russo at TNA There’s No Place Like Home PPV that would have taken place in April but abandoned all plans after the pandemic.
Since then, a source with Impact stated that “Russo has not been used in any way, shape or form by Impact since.
He has not been at any tapings in Nashville and that there are currently no plans for Russo within the company in any capacity, as a consultant, independent contractor or employee.”
Featured below are Vince Russo’s tweets about the Impact Wrestling rumors.

Years Ago I was Hired by TNA as a consultant. Part of the Terms was to keep it Quiet. I did what my Employer asked me to do. When I accidentally sent an e-mail to the wrong address-it came out. I was labeled a LIAR for keeping the confidentiality my employer asked me to. (1)

At that time I vowed myself to never allow myself to get into that situation again. The Dirt Sheets are stirring up that I’m consulting fort TNA again. Hate to kill their FALSE BS-but-I’m not. https://t.co/17iU7cAwCf is a FULL-TIME JOB and I wouldn’t trade it in for THE WORLD (2)
