So, when will Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff be given control of the creative for RAW and SmackDown Live behind-the-scenes in WWE?
According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, the plan for Heyman and Bischoff and their announced roles as Executive Directors of the red and the blue brands, respectively, is to gradually transition them into their new positions rather than start them immediately.
The report adds that both men will be “slowly assimilated” into their new roles before being given full creative control over the development of their respective shows.
As noted, Vince McMahon will continue to have the final say and everything will still need to be run through and approved by Vince.
In response to rumors that these appointments are in preparation for the upcoming XFL relaunch and Vince possibly scaling his duties back, these moves appear to have nothing to do with that.
