Update On WWE Superstars Being Forced Into Quarantine At WWE Performance Center

— Recently there was a report of a possible “outbreak” of COVID-19 at the WWE Performance Center that was said to have led to several individuals being forced into quarantine, some of whom were scheduled for yesterday’s Halloween Havoc edition of NXT. On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that it was a trainer/coach at the PC that tested positive and as a result, WWE had everyone who was in close contact with the coach (i.e. trained at the gym) to isolate whether they had a positive test or any symptoms. It is being said that the majority of the people who went into quarantine were developmental wrestlers who hadn’t made it onto TV yet. Fightful.com reported that the incident likely took place an internal live event that WWE regularly holds to gauge talent progression as one took place on Friday and most who ended up quarantined were in attendance at that event.

— The only individual who was booked for NXT yesterday but was unable to due to the protocols above was Indi Hartwell, who was set to interfere in the Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae matches. Because Hartwell was unable to do this, the creative was changed to have someone in a “Scream” Ghostface mask instead did the run-ins. It’s possible that at a later date the Ghostface reveal will show that it was Hartwell under the mask.
