On tonight’s WWE Friday Night Smackdown, a triple threat match between Daniel Bryan, King Corbin and The Miz will determine the next opponent for The Fiend and his WWE Universal title – a match that will take place at Royal Rumble on 1/25 in Houston.
Based on the original plans to have Bryan vs. Fiend at TLC and then having it pushed back to give it more time to develop, the strong favorite for a winner is indeed Bryan.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com also notes that the other two options – The Miz and Corbin – don’t make much sense as Bray Wyatt (as himself) already squashed Miz at TLC and a Corbin/Fiend match makes very little sense.
