— A new match and an addition to this month’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event were revealed yesterday on Friday Night Smackdown. After a brawl during the show that had LA Knight and Braun Strowman on one side and Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu on the other, Strowman vs. Fatu is set for SNME.

— Also shared was that during the Cody Rhodes – Kevin Owens contract signing for their Royal Rumble match, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will serve as a moderator/enforcer. WWE Smackdown GM Nick Aldis attempted to get Rhodes and Owens to sign a new contract for their match but both refused until the other signed first. Aldis then announced that at Saturday Night’s Main Event, both Owens and Rhodes will be forced to sign the amended contract and none other than San Antonio’s own Shawn Michaels will moderate the proceedings. He also revealed that during their Rumble match, both titles will be suspended from above the ring.
