The field for the ongoing WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continues to narrow with four more competitors in the men’s and women’s competitions advancing forward.
On Friday’s WWE Smackdown, Cody Rhodes defeated Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade and Damian Priest while Randy Orton overcame LA Knight, Carmelo Hayes and Aleister Black. Rhodes will face the winner of Monday’s Raw match between Jey Uso, Sheamus, Rusev and Bronson Reed while Orton takes on Sami Zayn next week on Smackdown.
Over on the women’s side, Alexa Bliss defeated Charlotte Flair, Candice LeRae and Alba Fyre while in another match, Jade Cargill scored a win over Nia Jax, Piper Niven and Michin. Bliss will face the winner of a four-way between Asuka, Stephanie Vaquer, Raquel Rodriguez and Ivy Nile while Cargill will take on Roxanne Perez.
