As advertised, WWE’s first-ever Universal Champion appeared at the NXT television taping on Wednesday evening.

Balor hit the ring and beat down reigning NXT World Champion Bobby Roode in a segment that eventually saw former NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura join in on the fun.
