Io Shirai’s WWE debut is now an official inevitability.
The Japanese pro wrestling star appeared at the second of two days of WWE house shows at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan this week.
Shirai appeared in front of the crowd and announced that she has signed with WWE and will be starting in NXT later this summer. Whether or not she will be participating in the Mae Young Classic tournament, which will be taped this August at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, was not confirmed.
