At Monday night’s edition of WWE RAW in Oakland, California, Paul Heyman responded to the comments Bill Goldberg made about a potential WWE return and the possibility of a match against Heyman’s “client,” Brock Lesnar during his appearance on ESPN’s “Off The Top Rope” WWE segment last week.
Heyman went on to issue an official challenge to the former WCW mega-star on behalf of his client, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar. “Goldberg, you sir are hereby challenged to a fight!” said Heyman during his segment on the show (view above). “One-on-one, icon vs. icon, Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg!”
Immediately after the segment wrapped on RAW, Goldberg took to his official Twitter page to respond to Heyman.
“Booking my flight to answer that big mouth Paul Heyman’s challenge next week in person on Monday Night RAW,” wrote Goldberg in the tweet, which you can view below. He finished with hashtags that read, “#WhosNext?” and “#SeeYaThere,” before adding a tag to the official WWE Twitter account.
