As noted, a six-man ladder match at Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: New Orleans live WWE Network special will crown the first-ever NXT North American Champion.

On Tuesday, Triple H took to social media to release a video unveiling the new NXT North American Championship belt that will be up for grabs in the ladder match this weekend, which features Ethan Carter III, Ricochet, Adam Cole, The Velveteen Dream, Lars Sullivan and Killian Dain.
