SmackDown Live Women's Title Match Set For WM34

Videos: Asuka & Charlotte Flair Comment On WrestleMania 34 Title Match

The plans for WrestleMania 34 continued to take shape at Sunday night’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view.

After retaining her SmackDown Live Women’s Championship against Ruby Riott, Charlotte Flair was officially challenged to a WrestleMania 34 showdown by undefeated contender Asuka.

The former NXT Women’s Champion and undefeated WWE main roster star came out to the ring and confronted Charlotte after her victory over Riott last night, pointing to the WrestleMania 34 sign hanging in the arena.

Although Asuka had been a member of the RAW roster, the storyline surrounding this year’s Royal Rumble match was that the winner could choose the title they challenge for at WrestleMania 34.

Check out reactions from Asuka and Charlotte in the above videos from the Fastlane post-show and from backstage at last night’s pay-per-view.

WrestleMania 34 goes down from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday, April 8th. Join us here on 4/8 for live play-by-play results coverage of the show.
