— The Wall Street Journal reported earlier today that Vince McMahon and former referee Rita Chatterton have reached an out-of-court agreement regarding the sexual abuse allegations that Chatterton was claiming from way back in 1986.

— While financial details of the settlement were not disclosed, it is a multi-million dollar amount but lower than that amount. The deal calls for an upfront lump sum and annual installments. McMahon continues to deny the allegations and according to his lawyer Jerry McDevitt, he settled the case solely to avoid the cost of litigation.
