On Saturday, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon took to social media to post about the upcoming history-making Women’s Hell In A Cell match for the title between Sasha Banks and Charlotte at next Sunday’s RAW brand pay-per-view event. The tweet, which has since been deleted, included a hashtag that read, “#TripleMainEvent.”
As noted, RAW General Manager Mick Foley noted on his official Facebook page earlier this week that the Banks-Charlotte match would be making history twice over as not only the first-ever Women’s Hell In A Cell match, but the first-ever Women’s bout to headline a WWE pay-per-view. Foley would also take back the statement, posting a retraction claiming that “to him it was the main event,” while pointing out that Seth Rollins and WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens might have something to say about that.
