— The long rumored Vince McMahon biopic titled “Pandemonium” has been shelved and it was McMahon himself who ultimately nixed the project, according to a report at Slash Films which cites the co-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra for the news. Requa stated that “Vince killed it” and went onto say the following:
“We have never in our career had the studio, we had an actor, everybody was just like, ‘Let’s make this movie,’ and Vince said, ‘We’re not making it,. So, yeah, we are on a very long list of people who got f***ed over by Vince.”
— The article adds that “‘Pandemonium’ was only going to be made with the involvement and approval of WWE Studios, so even before McMahon counted out the project, we likely would have never gotten a truly authentic look at just how insidious McMahon has been for over 40 years.” The project had been in the works for over 5 years before being shelved though a multi-part Netflix docuseries about Vince is still being developed and a new book on him is being released later this month.
