Earlier today, it was reported that John Laurinaitis, who was one of the defendants named in the ongoing Janel Grant lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon had settled with Grant and as a result, she was going to be dropping all accusations against him in exchange for him providing against McMahon.

Vince McMahon’s lawyer responded to the settlement with the following statement:

“Today’s dismissal of John Laurinaitis as a defendant doesn’t alter the facts of this case in any way. Vince McMahon never mistreated Janel Grant. No matter how many press releases her team issues, the truth remains unchanged.”
