Vince Russo Shares His Opinion Of Sasha Banks, Sonya Deville

Former WWE Attitude Era writer Vince Russo recently spoke about couple of current members of the WWE roster. Russo, who has been known to give very divisive comments throughout his time in and around the wrestling world, began by speaking about current Smackdown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. Vince questioned why Banks is known as “The Boss”, and explained:

“I know I’m not young and relevant and I’m not into hip hop and I’m not into all this stuff, but it just always bothered me. Like Sasha Banks is The Boss. I know The Boss is slangy and The Boss means something on the street. Well, bro, obviously I don’t know what The Boss means on the street because you’ve never shown me”.

Russo continued to talk about current members of the roster, and began to speak about Sonya Deville. Sonya most notably competed in the ring as a member of the tag team known as Fire and Desire, alongside Mandy Rose. Deville took time off to deal with personal matters, and recently returned as an assistant to Adam Pearce, who totally isn’t the GM. Russo talked about using the real life issue Deville had for storyline purposes, mentioning:

“I mean, bro, here’s a perfect example, and I mean I’m sure there were some things they couldn’t do legally, but there are some things they could do legally. Bro, when Sonya Deville went through that whole stalking… Bro, if you tell us that story on TV, we’re gonna care for that woman”.
