Miro is All Elite.
That’s right, folks, former WWE Superstar Rusev, now going by his real name of Miro, has made his official All Elite Wrestling television debut on this week’s AEW on TNT broadcast.
During the post-ALL OUT 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford came to the ring to make their advertised announcement of who Sabian’s “Best Man” will be at their upcoming wedding that will air live on a future episode of the weekly AEW on TNT program.
After a couple of cases of confusion, the real “Best Man” was introduced — and out came Miro.
The fans chanted “The Best Man” at Miro as he settled into the ring with his crew-cut haircut that is bleached blond for good measure. He finally addressed the limited capacity crowd at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL.
Miro confirmed that he is the “Best Man” for Kip Sabian’s upcoming wedding ceremony after taking a shot at his former employers in WWE, referencing the infamous “brass ring” speech by Vince McMahon before saying they can shove said-brass ring where the sun doesn’t shine.
