Sheamus was among the celebrities in attendance at the Daytona 500 race this week, which features a terrifying crash on the final lap that has resulted in NASCAR driver Ryan Newman being hospitalized in critical, but not life-threatening condition.
“The Celtic Warrior” worked the NASCAR On FOX television in a segment alongside racing legend Michael Waltrip. The WWE Superstar interviewed a couple of the drivers in the big annual event.
The official WWE On FOX YouTube channel released footage of the segment involving the pro wrestling star. The official description for the video reads as follows:

The race made headlines multiple times this week, as the originally scheduled President’s Day United States holiday event featured an appearance by U.S. President Donald J. Trump before getting postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday due to a rain delay.
On Tuesday, the race made headlines for a very, very different reason, and one that is unfortunate and tragic in nature.
During the final lap of the 2020 Daytona 500 on Feb. 17, driver Ryan Newman was involved in a horrific crash that saw his car flipped and smashed by other drivers, before skidding and ultimately catching on fire.
Since the conclusion of the race on Monday, Newman has been one of the top trending topics on Twitter and other social media platforms, as well as one of the most searched-for subjects on Google and other online search engines.
He is reportedly in critical, but not life-threatening condition.
Donald Trump has led the well-wishes that has spread like wildfire on Twitter with the “#PrayingForRyan” social media movement.
Check out his tweet directed to the NASCAR driver, as well as additional photos from the Daytona 500 of Sheamus, the Ryan Newman accident and more.
