The security who handled the first WWE RAW show of 2020 at the Chesapeake Energy Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma made a colossal error on Monday night, as they accidentally tackled a character that was scheduled to be part of the show.
On WWE RAW, the official seen during last week’s show who presided over the Lana and Bobby Lashley wedding was back to re-marry the couple.
The guy playing this role appears to have mistimed his entrance, entering the ring after the AJ Styles match but before the Lana/Lashley segment, causing ringside security personnel to believe he was a crazed fan who was rushing the ring.
Security ended up taking him down just as RAW went to commercial break. After the break, it was explained on commentary that the guy being tackled was indeed the wedding officiant.
