The numbers are in for the Wednesday, January 8, 2020 episodes of AEW Dynamite and NXT On USA and once again, AEW has bested the WWE NXT brand in their weekly, live two-hour head-to-head showdown on cable television.

Last night’s viewership numbers saw AEW Dynamite easily defeat NXT in the weekly battle, as the AEW show was watched by 947,000 people while the NXT show came in at an average of 721,000 viewers.

In the coveted 18-to-49 year-old demographic, AEW won in a landslide by securing a 0.36 rating to NXT’s 0.19.

By comparison, last week AEW drew 967,000 (0.36) viewers and NXT aired a “Best Of 2019” show that was well down with 548,000 (0.15) viewers.
