Nielsen has released overnight figures for Wednesday’s cable and broadcast shows and in terms of wrestling, the news was good for both WWE and AEW. Dynamite rose all the way up to 901,000 viewers, a nearly 17% increase week-over-week while NXT was up to 753,000 for a more modest 7% increase from last week. The combined audience of 1.654 million is the highest on Wednesday since before the pandemic was declared. In the 18-49 demographic, Dynamite finished 5th overall with a 0.36 rating – its best figure since February while NXT posted its third straight week of gains, finishing with a 0.20 rating for 27th spot.
