As previously reported, IMPACT recently announced that their Rebellion PPV has been moved to take place on Sunday, April 25th, from Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Rebellion was originally set to take place the night before.
IMPACT Wrestling Co-Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore noted Sunday night is the traditional night when major pro wrestling events usually take place, which is why the event was moved from a Saturday night to a Sunday night.
It has also been reported that Rebellion has been moved from April 24th because that is the same night as UFC 261, which features three big title fights. The event will reportedly also host a full capacity crowd of 15,000 fans.
Rebellion will be headlined by the Title vs. Title Matchup between AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann, with the winner walking out with both titles.
