As noted, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins took to social media this week to apologize to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay for going too far in their “Twitter War” last week.
In specific, “The Architect” apologized for comparing bank accounts between himself and “The Aerial Assassin,” essentially bragging that not only is he a better overall pro wrestler, but that he makes a considerable more amount of money for plying his trade in WWE than Ospreay does in NJPW and other promotions.
Late Tuesday evening, the international independent sensation once again took to social media to respond to the latest tweet in his ongoing “Twitter War” with the veteran WWE Superstar.
“Apology accepted,” wrote Ospreay via his official Twitter page (@WillOspreay). “Just buy me a Nando’s,” he added with a smiley face emoticon.
Ospreay continued, “Honestly nothing but respect for you sir, just a bit of banter in my mind. I’ve followed your career since you were Tyler Black, I know it’s not all the money [and] it’s about the love.
“Keep flying your flag [and] having fun,” Ospreay concluded.
