WWE has yet to release any estimates for the WrestleMania 35 gate but there is a chance that Sunday’s PPV could be the first show to exceed $20 million. The last time WWE was at MetLife stadium for WrestleMania, the company drew a legitimate audience of 74,000+ fans (68,900 of those were paid) for a gate of $12.3 million.
This year, ticket prices are much higher and thus the overall gate will be significantly more as well. The MetLife record (as announced by WWE) is an inflated 80.676 fans so one would expect that they will announce a figure slightly higher so they can set a new record.
