“The Icon” is gradually bringing his storied pro wrestling career to a close.
During this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Sting made his anticipated appearance to connect with the fans. In his address, Sting took a moment to reminisce about his illustrious career and his initial retirement in 2015. However, he went on to reveal his plans for an upcoming retirement.
Sting pointed out that he had his inaugural match for AEW at AEW Revolution 2022 and that his final match is scheduled for the AEW Revolution 2024 premium live event, which will take place next year. While the opponent for this final bout has yet to be announced, it marks a significant moment in the career of “The Icon.”
