However, his brother and tag team partner – Rey Fenix – continues to remain under AEW contract well into 2025. While there remains interest from WWE, Penta is expected to receive significant looks from various indie promotions.
— Matt Riddle made a surprise appearance for TNA last week, appearing in place for Trey Miguel who was unable to make it to the Turning Point PPV due to travel issues. Riddle was reportedly called on just hours before the show though TNA had a number of talent to pick from as they were at a convention. Fightfulselect.com reports that while TNA was very happy with the reception that Riddle received from the live audience, they would not commit to using him again in the future.
