— The early backstage word from WWE is that Damian Priest is fine. A knee injury was referenced in the post Clash at the Castle press conference where Priest said he hadn’t got it assessed however that it felt like “trash.” Fortunately, it appears he was basically just selling the injury during the match, which he received a lot of praise for.
— Hangman Adam Page, who has been out of action since March, is expected back within AEW shortly. Page, who isn’t hurt but took scheduled time off due to personal reasons, looks to be returning by early July at the latest though is not currently scheduled for this week’s AEW Dynamite.
— WWE’s NXT writer Johnny Russo was backstage at last weekend’s TNA Against All Odds PPV.
— Cody Rhodes merchandise continues to be a huge seller for WWE. Rhodes was the top talent seller in Scotland over the weekend with CM Punk’s merchandise also performing well.
— Fightfulselect.com reported that multiple wrestlers’ bags were late or lost and they were still waiting for them to arrive as late as Friday.
