NXT TV Coming To USA Network (8/19/2019)

WWE To Announce NXT TV To Debut On USA Network Tonight On RAW (Updated)

WWE will be launching their weekly NXT TV show on the USA Network on September 18, mere weeks ahead of AEW’s launch on TNT on October 2.

The two hour show will air on Wednesdays between 8 and 10 PM ET, the exact timeslot that AEW will be airing their show in.

As reported before, Vince McMahon and WWE felt it absolutely imperative to debut the NXT show before AEW’s first show which is why they are beating their rival promotion to the punch.

An announcement is expected to be made tonight on Raw, and given that the move to a live show on TV is less than a month away, the company is also likely to provide details on the venues of these events.

WWE stock is currently trading at $72.40 – up $2.79 from yesterday’s close in anticipation of the announcement.

The following is an additional report from F4WOnline.com that provides some more insight and information regarding the changes coming to NXT TV and the announcement expected for tonight’s WWE RAW:

The new two-hour NXT television show that will be announced tonight on Raw for the USA Network will have a September 18 debut date.

It was imperative on the WWE side to get a jump on AEW, which debuts with its October 2 show from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.

One would think with a date so close to happening, that the locations for the early shows would also be announced tonight.

NXT will be airing on 8-10 p.m. Eastern time on USA on Wednesdays, head-to-head with AEW on TNT.

WWE stock has increased $2.57 per share today to $72.18 based on the expectation of the announcement tonight.

In addition to the NXT announcement, tonight’s Raw will feature AJ Styles defending the United States title against Braun Strowman, two first round matches in the King of the Ring tournament, and a King’s Court segment with Jerry Lawler interviewing Sasha Banks. Samoa Joe vs. Cesaro and Cedric Alexander vs. Sami Zayn are the King of the Ring matches.
