WWE Announces A Huge Title Match For Their Taped November 4th Episode Of WWE SmackDown

Last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw Rey Mysterio approach WWE Head of Creative Triple H early in the broadcast and tell him he was quitting the WWE because he can no longer handle everything that is going on with his son Dominik Mysterio, but Triple H had a talk with Rey Mysterio and the WWE and pro wrestling legend ended up being an official member of the WWE Friday Night SmackDown roster and being a part of a Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender’s Match for the WWE Intercontinental Title, which he won.

WWE recently announced that Rey Mysterio will be receiving his WWE Intercontinental Title shot at the WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER on the November 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, which will be taped on Friday, October 28th following that night’s episode of WWE SmackDown as the WWE Superstars and the staff members have to travel to Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th. As of this writing, this is the only matchup announced for the Crown Jewel go-home episode of WWE SmackDown. GUNTHER last defended his WWE Intercontinental Title against Sheamus on the October 7th WWE SmackDown, which was a rematch of their match at WWE Clash At The Castle.
