WWE has been signing many of their top talents to long-term contract extensions as of late, and it appears that a handful of Superstars have been confirmed to have signed new deals in recent weeks.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Kofi Kingston signed a new multi-year contract with WWE that will keep him in WWE for what is believed to be until 2024.
As revealed on WWE Backstage last night, it’s not just Kingston who has inked an extension as his fellow New Day partners, Big E and Xavier Woods, have also signed what is being termed “matching” contracts for the same term (five years) and salary.
“As first reported on WWE Backstage, The New Day have agreed to matching multi-year extensions with WWE. Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods solidified a pact of identical length and compensation on their contracts to maintain equal status among the team,” WWE stated in their official announcement. “The news of Kingston’s extension broke on the trio’s weekly podcast The New Day: Feel the Power.”
Meanwhile, it was also announced on WWE Backstage that The Street Profits — Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins — have also come to terms on multi-year contracts with the company.
