As reported already, WWE taped the Edge vs. Randy Orton match a few weeks ago ahead of the actual airing of the PPV tonight.
Fightful.com’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Edge ended up suffering an injury during the match, believed to be a torn tricep.
WWE has yet to comment or make any statement on this but that’s to be expected because it’s not really public knowledge that the match was taped ahead of time.
A tricep injury – if it’s torn – would require around 9 months to recover if surgery is required.
As for the match itself, the duration was approximately 35 minutes but that is not taking into account any edits.
