Below are news, notes and possible spoilers for tonight’s WWE Backlash in St. Louis, MO:
- The show is expected to wrap up at about 9 PM local time (10 PM ET / 7 PM PT) as that is when the UFC PPV begins. TKO has a distinct strategy of trying their best not to have the their two brands overlap in that regard.
- Former NJPW star Jeff Cobb has been discussed heavily for Backlash, as has been reported already. As of yesterday, Cobb was planned to appear on the show and it is believed he will be inserted into a Bloodline-related storyline.
- WWE sources have noted that the belief internally is that John Cena’s Undisputed title reign will continue through the summer, which would strongly imply that he will be leaving Backlash with his belt.
