⁃ Kayla Braxton welcomes the viewers to the show, and introduces her co-hosts, Matt Camp, Evan Mack, and Ryan Pappolla. The Crew highlights segments from Fastlane, Raw and Smackdown, before Kayla brings on the first two guests, Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio.
Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio
Angle and Mysterio are joining the show to talk about Wrestlemania 21. Kurt starts off by plugging his podcast, and talks about “living every day one day at a time”. Rey says “I’m getting ready for Wrestlemania, and looking for an invitation to Kurts podcast”. Yes please! Ryan asks about Kurts reaction to finding out he would in a battle Royal for the vacant world heavyweight championship, during the lead up to Wrestlemania, and Kurt tells him “any chance you get to be the world champion, you take it”. Matt wants to know about the performance Rey put on at that years Royal Rumble, and Rey tells him “I just thought about the moment, and I had no idea I had the stamina to last that long”. Ryan brings up Angles contest against The Undertaker at No Way Out, which went down just before Wrestlemania, and Kurt tells him “I knew if I stay focused and wrestle, then I would be victorious against him”. Kayla brings up Orton’s strategy heading into his number one contenders match against Rey, which also happened at No Way Out, and Mysterio states “I had a guardian angel who helped from the Rumble to Wrestlemania”. Matt wants to know what it was like for Rey going into the triple threat match, instead of the initially scheduled one on one bout. Rey tells him “I thought I had more of a possibility, and there was some way I’d figure out how to get the victory”. Matt points out that Kurt also had a strange road to Wrestlemania 21, and Kurt reveals “I would have rather faced either guy one on one”. Ryan rejoins the conversation, and shows Rey, along with Kurt a sit down interview they had with Orton, which happened on the “go-home show, before the Wrestlemania match. Rey responds, and mentions “that was hard to digest. He said alot of things that shouldn’t have been said”. Kurt adds to that, and says “Randy has a tactic where he likes to get in your head. Randy is an interesting individual”. Finally moving on the triple threat match, Kayla asks for Rey’s memories of the night. Rey tells her “I watch this match over and over, the timing was impeccable that night. I feel like we all brought our A game”. Kurt shares his memories, and adds “I remember it being a fast paced match. Constant aggression”. Ryan talks about the feeling he had when Rey won, and how he used the West Coast Pop to do so. Rey explains “I just wanted to do something people would recognize as the finish”. Kurt talks about being happy for Rey, and mentions “this was a great story book ending. This was the perfect finish for a Wrestlemania main event”. Kayla tells them both to share a few more memories, and Kurt tells her “everything was dead on. It couldn’t have been better. Eddie would have been so proud of that match”. Rey adds to that, and explains “every time Kurt and I stepped in the ring, Eddie must have been smiling”. Kayla thanks both for joining, and the segment ends there.
⁃ The crew follows up by playing “Stump The Bump Trivia”. After the game wraps up, it’s time for the next guest, Victoria.
Victoria
Victoria is here to talk about Women’s History Month. Victoria starts off by talking about her YouTube show, and working with various charities. Ryan wonders how the current women’s locker room felt about Victoria returning at this years Royal Rumble, and Victoria explains “I was nervous, thinking I might get the cold shoulder”. Victoria goes on to say “I was embraced, and I met Bayley again, who I met when she was 14, and at an autograph signing”. Victoria continues, and explains “the caliber of the women’s division now… the bar is so high, and only going to get better. It took me days to recover”. Matt joins the conversation, and shows Victoria comments she had for Raquel Gonzales and Dakota Kai. Victoria responds, and tells Matt “this is all still a rollercoaster going up, up up. Seeing the fans reactions made me emotional, and I’m still on that high”. Victoria explains “it’s not our choice to come back, so I’m still on that high. The fan reaction video killed me, and I was in tears”. Matt takes Victoria back to her title vs hair match against Molly Holly. Victoria responds, and says “I love Molly, she gave me my finisher, and that was the thing that made Victoria. I love her, I’m so proud of her”. Kayla joins the conversation, and thanks Victoria for joining the show, before asking for final thoughts. Victoria thanks the crew for letting her be on the show today, and thanks “the fans for showing me so much loyalty. Congratulations to all of today’s superstars, I’m so proud”. Victoria exits stage left, and the crew moves on the next segment.
⁃ After the segment ends, the hosts announce Carmella will be on the show next week. Kayla then brings on the final guest, Kane.
Kane
Kane is here to talk about his greatest Wrestlemania moments. Kane talks about his mayoral services, and calls Knox County “the greatest place in the world”. Sure it is. Ryan begins by asking Kane about his one off appearances lately, and Kane explains “I think WWE is doing a great job of making the performers feel like there is a live audience”. Kane goes on to say “it was neat to see people excited about my Royal Rumble appearance”. Matt takes Kane back to his first Wrestlemania match against The Undertaker, and the storyline leading to the match. Kane tells Ryan “it was awesome. Seeing the full blown Undertaker entrance was so intimidating. I got lost in the moment”. Evan asks how the experience was all together, and the big red machine explains how the match went down. Kane tells the crew “that match made Kane. Kane was the performer who was still standing at the end of the night”. Kayla asks about Kane’s first interaction with Pete Rose, and Kane tells her “dropping Pete on his head a few times felt good”. Kane goes on to say that “he was a great performer, and would have made a great heel in WWE”. Ryan throws things back to the hardcore triple threat match at Wrestlemania 17. Kane tells him “my main objective was to not wreck the golf cart”. Evan throws his two cents in, and asks about Kane competing in various Money In The Bank matches. Kane talks about his approach to the match, and explains to Evan “I only wanted to climb the ladder once. I had to find creative ways to use the ladder, and creative ways for it to backfire on me”. Matt asks about Kane facing off with The Undertaker for a second time, and how different things looked with Kane not wearing a mask. Kane talks about the build up to the match, which he carried himself, and explains that not having the mask on “really changed the dynamic of the story between us”. The Undertaker randomly joins the show, and Kane tells the hosts “I’m having flashbacks. Suddenly the gong hits, and it’s trouble for me”. Kayla asks Taker to share a few memories of the matches he had with Kane. Taker runs down the list, and mentions the time Kane buried him with a front end loader. Taker tells Kane “that wasn’t very nice…”, and exclaims to the hosts “I could talk about this all day long”. Kane adds to The Undertakers thoughts, and says “it was horrifying to see The Undertaker coming at you. He changed my career.” Kayla wonders if Taker has anything else to tell Kane, and Taker reveals… Kane is being inducted into the 2021 Hall of Fame!!! Congratulations Kane! Kane gets emotional, and starts to get teary eyed. Kane responds, and tells him “thank you so much. If it hadn’t been for people like you, I’d have nothing”. Kane goes on, and mentions “none of this happens without you”. Taker says he feels the same way about Kane, and the segment ends there.
