WWE has cancelled yet another Monday SmackDown Live house show.
This time, WWE has axed the blue brand live event on June 3rd in Corpus Christi, Texas. The reason for this is due to a lack of top WWE Superstars being available for the show since multiple talents will be used on RAW (which runs head-to-head) as part of the ongoing Wild Card Rule.
This is the fourth time in six weeks that the Monday house show for the blue brand has been cancelled and as long as Superstars are crossing over between brands, it is likely to continue.
The American Bank Center – the venue where Monday’s show was supposed to be held – issued the following statement regarding the cancellation:
- “The WWE: SmackDown live event scheduled for Monday June 3rd at American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, TX has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. All fans who purchased tickets for the Corpus Christi, TX live event should go to their point of purchase for refunds.”
