— Cody Rhodes joined the Pat McAfee Show live this morning and spoke of his upcoming tag team match at Bad Blood this weekend where he will team up with former arch-rival Roman Reigns.

— McAfee welcomed Rhodes to the show, praising all the great numbers he has generated with merchandising. Rhodes then plugged NXT’s debut on CW Network and gave a hint at some great ratings that the show delivered that WWE officials shared with him and he said look forward to those figures coming out later today.

— McAfee noted that WWE business is on fire and they shifted to the match at Bad Blood. They talked about the cinematic segment that aired recently with him and Roman Reigns and Rhodes pointed out that the two didn’t shake hands, only agreeing to co-exist.

— They talked a bit about Rhodes being raised in the business and how wrestlers engage fans after the cameras go off air. He talked about how WWE is looking to expand and at the end of the night, it should be mandatory and a great way to connect with the audience and that everyone leaves extremely happy. Rhodes brought up CM Punk buying pizza for everyone last night on NXT.

— He was asked about the move to Netflix in 2025. Rhodes says the locker room is through the roof morale wise as everyone watches content on Netflix. WWE is ahead of the curve and Netflix is going to be huge for the company. He says WWE is moving up trying to get to the levels of college football and NFL and moving to Netflix is a part of that.

— They talked about Indianapolis hosting the Royal Rumble in 2025 and McAfee said the city is going to be hosting WrestleMania and SummerSlam too but Rumble is first. They plugged signing up for the presale.

— In an interesting and possible spoiler, McAfee pointed out that because Rhodes is competing in a tag team match at Bad Blood, his title won’t be on the line. Rhodes then had this to say:

“Not on the line this weekend but there is something that happens at Bad Blood. I guess a video package or vignette that’s going to play in the show. I’ve got to keep it vague but there are big title implications for Crown Jewel moving past this weekend. Sorry for being so vague, but a little spoiler there. In addition to that, WrestleMania 41, I’m looking to do three times now and enter the main event. But I think it will be something that will be perhaps is bigger than anyone anticipated.”
