— WWE’s NXT division has undergone another rebrand, a year after it was renamed NXT 2.0. As seen last night, WWE debuted a new logo for NXT at the conclusion of the one-year anniversary episode of NXT 2.0. The changes saw the 2.0 dropped from the logo while the color scheme returned to a gold-and-black feature. Shawn Michaels then narrated a video package that aired where he stated that NXT’s vision remains to develop the next generation of WWE superstars.
— The logo change back to a more classic gold/black scheme is yet another agent that has been implemented under the new regime that is led by Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan and more important Paul Levesque. Michaels was named SVP of Talent Development Creative last week and in his role is heavily involved with NXT.
