It looks like plans for “The Biggest Party of the Summer” have hit a bit of a speed bump.
The WrestleVotes Twitter account noted that initially WWE had planned to announce the date and venue of next year’s Royal Rumble in early August, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that details about the event are in a constant state of change, the company has decided to put this announcement on hold.
As of this writing, there is no word regarding when the announcement will be made.
