WWE Clash Of Champions 2020

WWE Clash Of Champions Breaking News: Multiple Title Matches Changed Hours Before PPV

Some last-minute changes have been made to the advertised lineup heading into tonight’s WWE Clash Of Champions pay-per-view.

On Sunday morning, news surfaced that claimed Nikki Cross would likely be pulled from the WWE Clash show tonight after she was absent from the “go-home” episode of Friday Night SmackDown earlier this week.

PostWrestling.com has confirmed this news, as Cross will not be working tonight’s “Gold Rush” PPV, where she was originally scheduled to compete against Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

With Cross being pulled from the show on short-notice, Bayley is still, however, expected to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against a late-replacement opponent.

Additionally, the Women’s Tag-Team Championship bout Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defending against The Riott Squad is completely off of tonight’s show, as the Women’s Tag-Team Titles will no longer be defended at all on the show.
