Corey Graves will no longer be on tonight’s WWE NXT broadcast, according to PW Insider.
Earlier today, Graves was spotted at Orlando Airport, heading through TSA as he departed the city. His absence from NXT comes after a series of emotional social media posts that hint at his growing frustration with his current role.
Yesterday, Graves shared a tweet that captured his feelings, writing, “Imagine chasing your dream, only to be told that you’re no longer physically able to pursue it. You then shift gears and excel at something ‘dream-adjacent,’ only to be told that you’re not famous enough for that either when it’s finally time to enjoy the success. Just in case you were wondering where I’ve been.”
As previously reported, there had been rumors within WWE throughout the past week about Graves being unhappy with his assignment to NXT, where he has been serving as the third commentator alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T. He had been previously removed from his spots on Raw and SmackDown.
This morning, Graves took to Twitter again, seemingly attempting to channel the buzz he’d received into anticipation for his appearance on NXT.
