In response to the reports of Dean Ambrose finishing up with WWE and leaving once his contract expires in April, I reached out to the company for a statement. Usually WWE does not comment on the contractual situation of its talent but they did respond with the following, confirming that he is wrapping up his commitments:
“Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.”
